What AfterRun checks
AfterRun only checks for a matching Strava activity for this event. It does not publish your Strava activity, map, GPS trace, heart rate, cadence, or full activity details.
For automatic matching, your event activity needs to be visible to Followers or Everyone on Strava. Activities set to Only You are not matched automatically in this demo flow.
Results are private-first and reviewed later. They are not live.
What happens next
- You connect with Strava for this event.
- You record the run normally with your own watch or phone.
- AfterRun checks later after the upload deadline and prepares private results for review.
You can ask the organiser to remove your timed entry or delete your AfterRun-held event data.
Good to know
- Record normally with your own watch or phone.
- Let the activity sync to Strava before the upload deadline.
- AfterRun checks later; results are not live.
- Untimed runners do not need to connect with Strava.
